Soft corona refers to the dynamic layer of proteins and biomolecules that adsorb loosely onto the surface of nanoparticles (NPs) when they are introduced into a biological environment. Unlike the hard corona, which is more tightly bound and less dynamic, the soft corona is characterized by continuous exchange of its constituents with the surrounding biological medium.
