Why is Gravitational Force Less Significant Compared to Other Forces?
For nanoscale objects, forces like electrostatic interactions and van der Waals forces dominate because they are more dependent on surface area than mass. As the surface area to volume ratio increases at the nanoscale, these forces become much more significant than gravitational force.
