Carbon-based Nanomaterials:Graphene, carbon nanotubes, and carbon nanofibers are excellent supports and can be functionalized to enhance ORR. Metal-Nitrogen-Carbon (M-N-C) Catalysts: These materials, where metal atoms are coordinated with nitrogen and embedded in a carbon matrix, show high ORR activity and stability.
