An angstrom (Å) is a unit of length used to measure extremely small dimensions, particularly in the fields of nanotechnology and chemistry. One angstrom is equal to 0.1 nanometers (nm) or 1 x 10-10 meters. The term "angstrom" is named after the Swedish physicist Anders Jonas Ångström.
