Despite their potential, green nanotechnologies face several challenges. One major concern is the environmental impact of nanomaterials themselves. While they offer many benefits, the long-term effects of nanoparticles on ecosystems and human health are not fully understood. Additionally, the production of nanomaterials often requires significant energy and resources, which can offset some of the environmental gains. There is also a need for regulatory frameworks to ensure the safe and responsible use of nanotechnology.
