Despite the promising applications, plasmonics faces several challenges such as fabrication complexities, high cost, and stability issues. Achieving precise control over the size and shape of nanoparticles at the nanoscale is technically demanding. Additionally, the stability of plasmonic nanoparticles in different environments needs to be improved for practical applications.
