What Are the Challenges in Developing Organic Solar Cells?
Despite the advantages, there are several challenges in the development of OSCs:
Stability: Organic materials are often less stable than inorganic counterparts, leading to shorter lifespans and degradation under environmental conditions. Efficiency: While nanotechnology has improved efficiency, OSCs still lag behind traditional silicon solar cells in terms of overall performance. Scalability: Developing scalable and reproducible manufacturing processes for high-performance OSCs remains a challenge.
