What are Graphene Oxide and Reduced Graphene Oxide?
Graphene oxide (GO) is an oxidized form of graphene, which contains various oxygen functional groups. It is hydrophilic and can be easily dispersed in water, making it useful in biomedical applications and as a precursor for other graphene-based materials. Reduced graphene oxide (rGO) is produced by the reduction of GO and has properties more similar to pristine graphene, such as higher electrical conductivity.
