PMOS, or P-channel Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor, is a type of MOSFET (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) where the majority carriers are holes. In PMOS transistors, a negative voltage applied to the gate attracts holes, allowing current to flow from the source to the drain.
