Micellar solubilization is a process where surfactant micelles encapsulate hydrophobic molecules, enhancing their solubility in aqueous solutions. This phenomenon relies on the formation of micelles, which are spherical aggregates of surfactant molecules with hydrophilic (water-attracting) heads and hydrophobic (water-repelling) tails.
