The Erasmus Programme is a European Union (EU) student exchange programme established in 1987. It provides students with the opportunity to study, train, and gain experience abroad. Named after the Dutch philosopher Desiderius Erasmus, the programme has expanded to include not just EU countries, but also many other partner countries worldwide.
