What are the Challenges in Developing Molecular Transistors?
Despite their potential, there are several challenges that need to be addressed before molecular transistors can be widely adopted. One major challenge is the difficulty in reliably connecting single molecules to electrodes in a way that maintains their electrical properties. Additionally, the stability and reproducibility of molecular transistors are still areas of active research.
