There are numerous successful examples of nanotechnology collaborations with schools. For instance, the NanoSense project, funded by the National Science Foundation, has developed a series of high school science modules that introduce students to nanotechnology concepts. Similarly, the University of California, Berkeley, runs a program where graduate students visit local high schools to conduct nanotechnology demos and experiments.
